Botox®

Cellulite Reduction
Cellulite is a nagging problem for many women, even those who work hard to keep fit. The reason is that cellulite is not a fat problem - its a skin problem. Cellulite is made up of fat cells that reside within the skin. They cannot be burned as fuel, so dieting and exercise won't eliminate them. Now through Acoustic Wave Therapy TM , ( AWTTM), women can achieve firmer, smoother skin in the areas where cellulite forms - the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, and arms. This therapy was originally developed in Europe where research demonstrated that acoustic waves are effective in disrupting the fibrous bands that dimple the skin. Researchers also demonstrated that acoustic waves will increase the thickness of the dermis by stimulating collagen production. This resulted in a decrease in the degree of protrusion of fat into the dermis and smoother, firmer appearance of the skin.

Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are often known as derma-peeling or chemexfoliation . They are a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin which causes the surface to separate, peel off, and allows new skin to regenerate. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a procedure for removing the topmost layer of skin, leaving it supple and vibrant. It is effective in reducing fine lines, "crow's feet," age spots and acne scars. It stimulates the production of skin cells and collagen.
The hand piece emits medically-pure crystals onto the surface of the skin, resulting in a gentle abrasion or "polishing" process. Each treatment takes from 30 minutes to an hour. The number of treatments recommended for maximal results can range between five and twelve, spaced from one to four weeks apart. Maintenance of results requires periodic repeat treatments after the initial regimen is completed. Microdermabrasion may be combined with a light chemical peel to increase the effect.

Psoriasis Therapy
In normal skin, the cells grow, move to the surface and are sloughed off at a steady unnoticeable rate. This cycle takes about one month. With psoriasis, the immune system sends faulty signals that speed up this cycle to only three or four days. The skin thickens with extra cells and blood vessels grow larger in a attempt to feed those extra cells. Skin cells pile up on the surface with dead cells creating a white, flaky layer over the patch of inflamed skin. IPL uses specialized flashes of green and yellow Light to shrink and eliminate the blood vessels that feed the abnormal growth of psoriatic skin cells.
The heat combined with infrared wavelengths reduce swelling and inflammation and very effectively stop the constant itching associated with psoriasis. Although psoriasis can occur on many areas of the body, photothermolysis treatments insure that only psoriatic lesions are treated while healthy tissue remains untouched.

Waxing
There are many benefits to waxing versus other forms of hair removal. Waxing is a long-lasting method. Hair in waxed areas will not grow back for two to eight weeks. When the hair does grow back it is soft and thin. When hair is shaved or removed by depilatory cream, the hair is removed at the surface rather than the root. Within a few days, the hair can be seen at the surface. With these methods, hair tends to grow back in a rough stubble. Areas that are repeatedly waxed over long periods of time often exhibit a thinning of regrowth, and regrowth that is thinner, softer, and lighter in color. The use of a hair inhibitor will also aid the slow re-growth of hair, used over a long period of time this can be used as an almost permanent method.
